Danang is a picturesque city by the Han river and the coast of the East Sea in central Vietnam. Often skipped by travelers who make their way to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Hoi An, Danang still is worth visiting. It is the third largest city in Vietnam which has developed from a small trading port into a major commercial port in the region. The Marble Mountains

7km away from the downtown of Danang, Ngu Hanh Son (Five Elements Mountains) or the Marble Mountains includes numerous marble and limestone hills, caves, tunnels and Buddhist shrines. Hai Van Pass

The high and dangerous Hai Van Pass with full of perilous obstacles is praised by some as “the most grandiose beauty spots in the world” and has become a not-to-miss destination for motorcycle enthusiasts. As a 21km mountain pass connecting Da Nang and Hue, it brings about magnificent ocean views for tourists to admire. Travelling along the road, you can have some of the most incredible ocean views in all of Vietnam. Though a new highway tunnel has been built to bypass the road, the ride is relatively technically challenging; especially when the weather turns bad.

Ba Na – Mount Chua is a destination that tourists coming to Danang should not miss. The cool weather at a high altitude, the majestic mountain scenery and several tourist attractions there make Ba Na hills one of the most attractive destination not only in Danang but also in the central region.

It must be a mistake to visit a coastal city without spending time on its beaches. Non Nuoc and My Khe beaches are two among several beaches you can visit.
